The Albany is a well loved theatre in South London. Historically it has undergone stages of change and adaptation. Starting life as a Philanthropic institute for the 1890’s Deptford poor to a radical theatre group in the 1970’s. Now a lively theatre serving its community with strong social values.
A series of drawings in collaboration with WWM architects, together we explore how illustration can provide a language to communicate a narrative for residents, councils and architects about the need, challenge and opportunity for a future evolution of the Albany?
